Ingredients

1 roll of ready-made pizza dough
100 g butter, room temperature
1 dl sugar
4 tsp cinnamon
Oil for frying, for example rapeseed oil
Sugar to roll the balls in

Step-by-step

Step 1

Mix together butter, sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Roll out the dough and cut it into about 20 pieces. Place ½–1 teaspoon of filling on each piece. Pinch the edges together and roll into a smooth ball.

Step 2

Light the gas burner and heat the oil on the griddle. Add the cinnamon bun balls and lower to medium heat. Keep in mind that the oil must not be too hot – otherwise the cinnamon bun balls will remain doughy in the middle.

Step 3

Remove and let drain on a rack or paper towel, we used our Grill and Smoking Basket. Roll the cinnamon bun balls in sugar. Enjoy!
