Roasted lamb with honey roasted roots

The recipe yields the best results when cooking with the Muurikka Electric Smoking Oven PRO.

• 4 pieces of roasted lamb
• 4 garlic cloves
• 1 tbsp coarse-grained sea salt
• 1 dl red wine
• rosemary

Cut the rosemary and the garlic finely and mix them with the salt and red wine. Let the pieces of lamb marinate in the mixture for at least an hour. Take the pieces of lamb out of the marinade and brown them quickly in a hot pan, about 30 seconds on each side. Preheat the smoking oven to full power. Place the pieces of lamb in the smoking oven and smoke for 15 minutes or until the inner temperature of the meat is 65 degrees. After smoking, wrap the pieces of lamb in foil and let rest for 15 minutes.


• 200 g carrots
• 200 g swedes
• 200 g parsnips
• 3 tbsp honey
• oil
• salt
• black pepper

Peel the root vegetables and cut them into 1.5 cm x 1.5 cm cubes. Mix the cubes with the oil, honey, salt and pepper. Roast in the oven at 200 degrees for 35 minutes, mix from time to time.
